Coaching Perspective

Ginger’s coaching philosophy is based on the belief that people need to hear the truth about what they’re doing and how well it’s working. Equally important, they need to understand how to act on what they hear and how to use that feedback to improve their performance. Her coaching engagements are built around understanding what’s working well and what could be enhanced. She then focuses on changing and developing behaviors to achieve better results.

Client & Industry Experience

Ginger has built a strong, 20+ year track record of success helping organizations and leaders achieve their business goals. She has worked in the public and private sectors with clients ranging from family-owned businesses to global corporations, spanning a number of sectors as diverse as digital security, digital marketing, building solutions, and quick service restaurants. Her clients range from C-level executives to high potential directors and VPs.

Leadership Experience

Prior to her role as an executive coach, Ginger was a senior HR leader at Bank of America.

Her responsibilities included designing and delivering the leadership development processes for major lines of business and support functions. She also facilitated the company’s leadership training programs during its high growth period with numerous acquisitions and integrations.

She relocated from corporate headquarters in Charlotte to the New York office, where she played a key role in reshaping the culture and HR practices. She did this while leading Talent Management efforts for the debt businesses within the Global Corporate Investment Bank. In this role, Ginger was responsible for leadership and executive development, organization design, change management and executive coaching. She then progressed into HR Business Partner roles, supporting product groups within Wealth Management as well as the CIOs for Consumer Banking and Risk Management. In this role, she managed a 20-person global HR team and oversaw the build-out of a new 325-person knowledge center in Mumbai, India.

Prior to her roles in HR, Ginger began her career in sales. She moved into HR based on her conviction that people and talent are the main differentiators in organizational performance.
